I'm not one to spread rumors, so I made sure this one was for sure before I posted this. There is a new Denise chip, which will (hopefully) be released along with the new 1-meg Agnes chip, sometime RSN. Details were sketchy, and I really had to pull teeth (seems like C-A doesn't want details out just yet. Maybe it's because rumors of the '386 bridgeboard and the 2090A have brought the current bridgeboard and 2090 controller sales to a halt...) Higher resolutions, more colors, a "flicker-free" 640x400 mode which reportedly requires an EGA monitor. (Makes sense, since standard monitors like the current Amiga ones aren't built for it). Unfortunately, no truecolor (i.e. Mac II), as they still felt it was cost-prohibitive at this point in time. Personal comment: big mistake, guys... Please don't start a rash of new rumors, but if anyone else has real info, for heavens sake, let us now! -- Stephen Hartford ma179aav@sdcc3%sdcsvax.ucsd.edu CGA? VGA? EGA? A.M.I.G.A.

Hi, could someone explain if I get any improvement by replacing the old denise chip with a new one? Does it provide a productivity mode without the deinterlacer hardware? If not, does anyone knows when are Commodore releasing the de-interlacer hardware for A2000? Thanks in advance! -TG
