Hi, Everyone.
I have a Ami200HD with Panasonic Panasync 1391 monitor. Lately I've been
having some problems with my monitor. There seems to be a small discoloration
on the upper right hand corner of my monitor. The size of this "spot"
changes as time goes on. If the rest of the screen is Orange, the spot is
dark pink, if screen is light blue the spot is greenish gray etc....
This dicolortion disapperas when using the system in another room.
Some one told me that a magnet could cause this. What's strange is if
I put a small magnetized screw driver next to the side, the discoloration
disappears. I have alot of electronic instruments( Synths, samplers etc.)
and recording gear in the same room. Could this be the cause of the
problem? BTW, the problem still exists when everything is turned off.
I thought it could be the lights so I had everything turned off except the
computer, but the problem did not go a way. HELP! Does anyone know what
is causing this problem? Is it because of some magnetic field? And if
it is, how can I shield my monitor to get rid of the problem.
Any info will be very much appreciated.
