I originally ask if anyone was doing a port of NCSA telent to the
Amiga. So far I have not heard any info regarding a port either
done, or in progress. I rather suspect that no one is working onit
either. Too bad, the source code is available from NCSA via anonymous
FTP to zaphod.ncsa.uiuc.edu.

I have a $12,000 Mac II on my desk at work. I am always amazed at what
people will pay for this kind of platform. I have been happy with NCSA
Telnet 2.3 on the MacII and Mac/SE-30, but the expense is unbearable for
individuals.

I am sure someone would port NCSA-Telnet to the Amiga if they had ready
access to (1) ethernet, (2) and ethernet board, (3) a set of example
software like NCSA Telnet, and (4) plenty of time to work. That is a lot
to ask of an individual, with shallow pockets.
