I have not read this newsgroup before so I hope that this request
is appropriate.
I would appreciate any experience AMIGA users have had using their
computers for the following applications: (1) sample editing, (2) sequencing,
(3) direct to hard disk recording. I am deciding on a computer for these
types of musical applications and it was suggested in comp.music to post
here for info on AMIGA's capabilities. Of Particular interest to me would
be the software (or shafeware) available for the AMIGA, which models or
system configurations would be required for these applications (eg. amout
memory? Disk? which cpu model?). I only know a little about the AMIGA
(and it's reputation in video productions applications). Also of importance
is the cost (price/performance) of any of these approaches.
