Hi there I am posting this because after some experimentation with the PDC C compiler i have come to the comclusion that since most of those out out there that program in C use Lattice I ought to buy it. Well this is what I proprose if there is someone out there that has a fairly recent version of Lattice C that no longer uses it, for one reason or another, and might sell it let me. Eithere that or it is $150 for it on the edjucational discount. Joshua SLMT9@cc.usu.edu

I called Lattice's 800 number last week and was given the number of SAS, which is now distributing the compiler. Well, I called SAS, was transfered to 3 or 4 different people and never could find anyone that knew anything about it. Everyone I spoke to seemed nice and tried to be helpful, but no one seemed to know what was going on. The last person I got (in the publications dept. I belive) said that the only people who knew anything about the Amiga compiler were on vacation, but that someone would call me back. It's been a week and still no response. I wanted to buy Lattice C on the edu. discount, but now I'm not so sure. I don't even know if the discount still exists. Richard

I'm sure that several others (including me) would like to find out more about Lattice's (SAS's) educational policy. Bo Najdrovsky ...att!mwood!attcc!ulab!bn mwood!attcc!ulab!bn@MWOOD.ATT.COM

Hi. I bought Lattice C about two months ago from SAS, and it was $150 with
the educational discount. All you have to do is send them a copy of your
student ID. Their tech # is 708-916-1100. I can't recall their main number,
but they'll probably be able to forward your call.
