When outputting DVideoIII to video tape, genlocked over non-black reference video, a wide black bar appears in the upper area of the screen during transitions between pictures. The author programmed in the black bar to hide his "credits" graphic. The bar can be toggled on/off by the user through tool types: "credits=no". The problem is that you have a choice: either an unwanted black bar, or author credits appearing in all your DVideos that you want to record. Obviously the author did all his programming without ever recording to tape with genlocked video. Yesterday, Electronic Arts was singularly unhelpful...aware of bug but no committment to fix it. They've been aware of it for months. Has anyone found a workaround?
