Greets fellow 3000 owners, and all amiga users! I would like to call upon the wisdom of the net regarding the price of ZIPs for the 3000(sorry if repetitive). A friend of mine is selling a bunch of STATIC COLUMN MODE 1 MEG x 4 > 70 < ns ZIPS for $60 a chip. This seems to be a good deal to me, as this would be 120 a meg. But i have to pop in 4 megs since i am using these 1 meg chips so i have to spend 480 bucks. IS THIS A GOOD PRICE, OR AM I CRAZY TO BUY FROM HIM? Can't find info on prices for these babies anywhere, except one source selling 1meg PAGE MODE ZIPS for 65 bucks each, which are cheaper and can't take advantage of CPUs burstmode. Please guide me concerning chip expansion here!!!! I LOVE THIS MACHINE, AND HAVE TO EXPAND MY MEMORY! Thanks for all help w/the different types of 1MEG ZIPS, the advantages/disadvantages, and most IMPORTANTlY, fair prices to BUY! -Layton ( LOVIN LIFE NOW...)
