Although slip is not available, TSSnet (DECnet/DDCMP) is. From Syndesis.
It will work fine over serial. 9600 minimum required for acceptable
response. Because we provide uwm/twm as local Amigados window managers
the user interface response is good. 3.2 is planned to include OpenLook.
