G'day, { This message is cross posted to comp.sys.amiga and aus.computers.amiga } { I am posting this message for my friend from his account. Please reply } { to this account, rather than post a followup, as he doesn't read these } { news groups frequently. (But please see the PS: at the end). } My friend (George) bought and installed (himself) the Super (?) Agnus, the part no. is 8372A, but finds that line graphics are trashed on his screen. In fact his Amiga eventually locked up after he tried to close some window after running a line graphics demo. The AmigaBasic line graphics demos don't fail (presumably A-B doesn't call on the blitter for this). I think I remember him saying that the WorkBench line drawing demo trashes the screen (partly drawn lines, other junk). This problem seems similar to one that I read about on the net Amiga groups a while ago. However I didn't seem to save that message in my personal data base of Amiga news items... {I do not recall the monthly posting mentioning this problem. I apologise if it is (mea culpa, not George's).} I'm sure that my friend will be most happy if you could help him with this problem. The Summary: Line Graphics demos do not have properly drawn line segments. The Amiga locked up on trying to close a window. yours truly, Lou Cavallo (George's friend) PS: This site will be changing its name/address after 29 July.
