[comp.sys.amiga] Where to look for Empire 2.1

IO91461@MAINE.BITNET (Tom Nezwek) (07/28/90)

       Hello to all,

A fellow netter asked me to find out where to get Empire 2.1...
This is what I came up with:

It appeared in comp.binaries.amiga.

Comp.binaries.amiga is archived on xanth.cs.odu.edu. These archives
are available via anonymous ftp in the /usenet/comp.binaries.amiga/
directory. If you don't have direct access to the Internet, you can
still retrieve back issues of comp.binaries.amiga by using the BITFTP
server. Send a ``help'' message to bitftp@pucc.princeton.edu for info.

You don't have to buy it. You can get it from Fred Fish, DevWare,
or by sending me a disk.

Empire 2.1w by Gray & Wright is freely distributable. You cannot buy it
in a store, and if you could, the store would be in violation. Empire is
available for anonymous ftp from xanth.cs.odu.edu in the /usenet/
directory. I don't recall the exact path, but it was posted earlier this
year on comp.sys.amiga. The path to the postings _may_ be similar to
this: /usenet/comp.sys.amiga/volume90/

No need to buy -- it was posted to comp.binaries.amiga a while ago. Send
me a disk SASE and I'll send you a copy. BTW, it's a great game!
