The A3000 I ordered on the Educational Discount program arrived today, but without the 2286 AT Bridgeboard I had ordered to go with it. The dealer says that Commodore declined to ship the Bridgeboard and will issue me a refund check, "because it has been found that the current Bridgeboard does not function correctly with the A3000, and is causing the machine to crash." Finding this hard to believe (no one else has reported such a problem here, have they?) I called Commodore myself, and received the same answer from them directly. Well I wanted a 3000, but the MSDOS compatibility is absolutely necessary. Does anyone know what the problem is with the Bridgeboard, and whether it is going to be fixed quickly? -- --Bill Kinnersley Physics Department Montana State University Bozeman, MT 59717 INTERNET: uphwk@terra.oscs.montana.edu BITNET: UPHWK@MTSUNIX1 226 Transfer complete.
