I need some feedback on the market value of an A1000 system. I am considering buying out a friend's system, and I need to come up with a fair price for it (this is a good friend, so I'm not looking to make a profit at his expense). I have no real use for this equipment myself (I've got Amigas coming out my ears right now...), so what I'm really interested in is what I could turn around and sell it for. This is the system: o A1000 CPU (512K RAM, no halfbrite) o A1010 External 3.5" floppy o A1020 Transformer & 5.25" floppy o 1080 Monitor o Insider board (1 Meg) All this equipment is circa March 1986 (this was actually my own original Amiga system, so I'm trying to resist the nostalgic impulse to buy it for myself, by saying "What would you do with it?"). There are no known problems with the system. I'd appreciate any opinions on the value of the components, the system on the whole, and whether there is any demand for it at all in this market. Reply by E-Mail, since I doubt this is of general interest.
