This probably doesn't belong in net.general, but I want to reach
a LOT of people. My apologies if you're offended by its presence
here.
What command do you use to send files to the line printer on your
system? (lpr, or otherwise?) Is there a command (like lprq) to
print the line printer queue, and if so, what? (If you have
several line printers, just tell me the commands used for the
most commonly used, or default printer.) Lastly, what version of
unix (V7, 2.8bsd, 4.1bsd, sysV, etc.) are you using?
