I have a few questions to ask you more adept amiga users. Is there an easy to use, memory resident shell that has all/most of the CLI commands? I really really really hate swapping disks (I am buying a second drive though) and I hate loading a RAM disk up with all the commands. Do any of the PD C programs have graphics support (besides simple scientific plot libraries??) Will my amiga 1000 become obsolete and unsupported? (please say no) I have noticed that it is getting more difficult to get hardware for it. Also, is the new kickstart available for the 1000?? What is the general consensus on 2.0?? Will it do ANYTHING for my 1000? (I understand the advances aren't that great unless you have expanded chip sets) Will software for 2.0 work with 1.2 and 1.3? (I know some programs didn't work with 1.3 and when I got a pre-release of 1.4 nothing seemed to work well with it on the 1000) My final few questions are: Is the an X-Term for amiga? Does anyone know of a Sparc/sun station emulator for amiga? Thats all for now. If/when I receive a few answers I may have more questions (grin). Thanks for any help I may get...
