[comp.sys.amiga] Help a new Lattice user?

unicorn@world.std.com (Arthur P Hamlin) (08/06/90)

I recently purchased ( through the net ) an Amiga. It came with many disks
from many sources. One of the disks has a Lattice C compiler on it. Luckily,
one of the other files was a generic Make for a single file program. But I
need more. (oh, so much more) I have a number of questions/requests on the
subject:

Lattice C is a CLI product, isn't it? No development environment like Turbo
C on the PC.

The linker seems to be written by another company? Is this normal for Lattice?

I have absolutely no documentation on Lattice, does anyone have an old manual
they don't need/want?

I assume there is an optimisation switch, what is it?

Other useful switches?

There is a debugger on the disk. Is this normal and how can I access it?

Please send replies to unicorn@world.std.com since I am falling behind in
my Netnews reading.

Thanks in Advance,

As a lattice owner, I can answer some of your questions.

The Optimize switch is -O.

The debugger is user friendly, just type CRP to use it.

Blink is base on the PD version of the blink.

Also, You can invoke the Compiler from the LSE editor, too.

Uh... I think you'd better check your spelling, it's CPR (for CodePRobe)
