So how many A3000s did you buy? Just because one of your one machines had problems, it is not indicative of quality control. IBM has service centres, Apple has them, and Chevrolet has them. Noone makes every unit perfect. I know, I fix IBMs every day. Your machine had a problem, but it likely wasn't a ridiculous one. By ridiculous, I mean something like the [brand deleted] 386 machine I worked on the other day that hard the serial port case mounted upside down... the pins were all right the the D-cover had been forced on upside down... How did that pass quality control? Point being, noone likes to have their machine die. Noone likes to wait for it to be fixed. But that is not necesarrily an indication of the whole line when one unit is bad.
