WARNING!!! THIS IS A FIRST POST. .... and it's after 1 a.m. Hi There: AN ENQUIRY 1. What compressed format are files with the "*.Z" suffix? And where can I get (in the ftp context) a decompression program from (for Amiga pref. but PC MsDos or Pyramid Unix O.K.)? 2. I have been getting the "Battery Backed Clock not found" message on boot-up (in response to setclock) on my A2000 which does not have a separate clock card (as far as I can see) like the A500. Anyone with any suggestions? Thanx t'y'all. signature pending ... but for now Glen Wolfe s71119@zeus.irc.usq.oz.au School of Engineering U.C.S.Q. The .Z suffix indicates that the file has been compressed using UN*X compress command. To uncompress use 'uncompress [filename]'. See your man pages for more info. Matt
