I've been thinking of purchasing a hard drive from ComputAbility. Has anyone had problems with that company that I should know about? Greg

Yes. I bought my Amiga 2500 and bridgeboard from them about a year ago. The bridgeboard did not work. It turned out to be a design problem, but I fought with computability for about 6 months before I finally went to Commodore and started getting some results. As it turns out, Commodore does not consider Computability an authorized service center, but Computability will tell you they are. I don't know whether they are an authorized dealer for Commodore. My biggest difficulties with computability were: 1. It took me several months to convince them something was wrong. They spent most of that time trying to avoid doing anything for me at all. 2. Once I convinced them there was a problem, they replaced my bridgeboard with an identical one, which also did not work. 3. They never made any effort to investigate the details of my complaints to try to understand what the problem was. If you are interested in more details, I would be happy to give them to you.
