[comp.sys.amiga] Sources for SCSI Tape Drives

rankins@argentina.crd.ge.com (raymond r rankins) (08/14/90)

My apologies if you see this twice, but it didn't appear that my first
attempt at posting this made it out.

Does anyone know the number for HSC Technologies? They supposedly have
SCSI Tape drive Mechanisms for a pretty good price, but I can't
seem to find a number for them.

Alternatively, does anyone know of any other suppliers of bare SCSI
Tape Drives (I already have the case, power supply, and cables) at
reasonable prices?

Anybody have a used one they want to sell?

I'm tired of backing up 40 MB to floppies. :^)

Many Thanks in advance,
Ray

Just saw an advertisement in the August issue of Nuts & Volts (Pg 79)
that shows their address as 3500 Ryder St, Santa Clara, CA 95051

Phone: 408-732-1573 or for orders only 800-4-HALTED
FAX line is 408-732-6428 and BBS is 408-732-2814
Customer Service is 408-732-1854

Didn't see a SCSI tape in that particular add, but they do have refurbished
Hitachi CDR-2500 CD-ROM drives (but with XT interface) for $295.
