[comp.sys.amiga] AmigaVision Certificate

consp13@bingsuns.cc.binghamton.edu (Marcus Cannava) (08/17/90)

Hello, all..

	When I purchased my A3000, it did not come with AmigaVision;
Rather, it came with a certificate that I mailed in, requesting a copy
to be mailed from Commodore when available.

It's been about 3 months.. No AmigaVision.

The coupon said allow 6-8 weeks. Does this delay seem about right?
Did anyone else do this, and did you get your copy?

				Just wondering.

Really? My coupon said 'allow 4-46 weeks for delivery'. 46 WEEKS????
I thought it was a joke or a misprint. Maybe not.

BTW, the 3000 is very nice. I'm getting very little sleep these days.

ignore the mess :^)

The AmigaVision for the A3000 is not available yet...
Maybe they're working on AV support for the ECS. Rumor has it that
AmigaVision for the A3000 will have more features... Even though
the current version is compatable, to me, it's worth the wait!

It has been about six weeks since I sent my certificate in. Last week I
called the dealer I bought the 3000 through (I got it on the Edu Discount
plan) to ask them for the proper number at Commodore to call and query the
status of my AmigaVision. The dealer said he could give me the number if I
wanted, but could probably tell me what C= would say: Apparently the have
found some bugs in AmigaVision and are working on getting them fixed and
will then start shipping again. The dealer said they were backordered many
copies of AmigaVision for this very reason.

Can anyone say if this is true? And if so, does anyone know the current
state of the bug fixing?
