This weekend I thought I' try the Sys game from FF336. When I tried it, it was obviously meant for a European PAL-type screen. I thought, "No problem. I'll just use PatchNTSC from FF346 which changes the lo-res screen to an interlaced screen for just this purpose (It sez it's a patch in OpenScreen that automatically sets LACE mode when a screen is opened that has a vertical height >216 or so). Well, that worked. Sort of. I got an interlaced screen alright, could even see the whole playing area of the game, but the moving pieces (sprites?) moved as though it were still a PAL screen. That is, the pieces ignored the fact that the screen was half-sized vertically. I could sort of play it, but it was frustrating, to say the least. Is there a better way to be able to play the game? Adv(Many Thanx)ance to anyone who can help me out. PS I have an ancient A1000, Pre-HalfBrite, even. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Ah, Benson, you are so mercifully free of the ravages of intellegence!"
