[comp.sys.amiga] LS version 4.0 works better than 3.1 on an A3000

jms@tardis.Tymnet.COM (Joe Smith) (08/23/90)

Warning about not using version 3.1 of LS: If your STACK is set to a low
value (such as 4096), the command "ls -lR DH0:" works, but "ls -lR DF0:"
causes severe damage to AmigaDOS. On my A3000, pointer gets very slow,
getting stuck for about 1/2 second at a time before resuming.
(Setting "STACK 40000" works fine.)

With Kim DeVaughn's version 4.0 of LS, it works OK with the small stack.
I like this version better. Thanks, Kim.
