[comp.sys.amiga] Problem reading old Amiga images into Photon Paint 1.0

I have some old slideshow disks from the FF collection with
some really nice images on them. I was printing out some of these
old amiga images (DIRESTRAITS, BLOOM, AKIRA (I think that's right),
etc.) with my Okimate 20 to put the printer through its paces.
(It does a fantastic job, BTW) I loaded up my Photon Paint 1.0 after
setting the Preferences printer options to the Okimate 20 with
color correction on R, G, and b. Then I started loading in images
and "PRINTING" them. Well, I got to one disk which had
some digitized tigers, the SASHA image, the PENCIL image, and others
on it and, when I tried to LOAD them into PP, I got a requester
stating "unable to load file" or some such message. Well, I looked
at the disk and the "viewer" for these images is ShowILBM or ViewILBM
(I do not recall which). Is there something about ILBM images which
are different than PP images (IFF, I assume)? Is there any way to
"convert" these images to a PP compatible mode??? Are there any
Paint programs or PD programs which will allow me to print these
images?? (I know that the viewILBM may have a time setting on it
for the image to stay on screen for a while, but these images take
upwards of 15 minutes to print!).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott Sutherland
