wizard@sosaria.UUCP (Chris Brand) (09/21/89)

I recently got the program MIPS by A. Romualdez, and here's what came out:

68000: standard Amiga
time before: 369957790 seconds 720369 microseconds
time after : 369957853 seconds 141057 microseconds
time diff : 62 seconds 420688 microseconds
OR : 62.420690 seconds
performance: 0.801017 MIPS

68020/68881/68851: Amiga with Commodore 2620 turboboard
time before: 369957979 seconds 500875 microseconds
time after : 369957991 seconds 381008 microseconds
time diff : 11 seconds 880133 microseconds
OR : 11.880133 seconds
performance: 4.208707 MIPS

68020/68881/68851: Amiga with 2620 and Sculpt Animate 4D calculating:
time before: 369864201 seconds 222900 microseconds
time after : 369864224 seconds 943195 microseconds
time diff : 23 seconds 720295 microseconds
OR : 23.720295 seconds
performance: 2.107900 MIPS

My Sharp PC 4641 with a NEC V20 10 Mhz just comes to 0.67 mips....

For whomever asked:
I get .869565 MIPS on my Amiga 2000 with 2 Megs of Fast RAM.
I get 4.143647 MIPS with my A2620 enabled.

My favorite kill move is to befriend the opponent and have him die of old age.
