I had so much success with my last question about VLT, I thought I would keep going. In my last posting on this, I asked why VLT didn't work correctly with GNU emacs. I finally found out that 1) it worked at 1200 baud but not at 2400 baud, and 2) it worked at 2400 baud if I set the prescroll to 0 in the SCREEN menu. What is this actually doing? Also, what do the program mode and the console window from the VLT menu do? Trying to open the console gives me an error message. Is this just new CLI? Why do I need it if I can push the screen to the back and open a CLI on the workbench screen? Thanks, Eric Stern stern@unix.cis.pitt.edu

I frequently use GNUemacs at 19200 baud and it works fine. I do however need someone to do me a favor.... I seem to be missing some of the VLT fonts (some screen res combinations say "can't load fonts") .. Could someone zoo em and uunecode em and mail em ? Thanks! ========[ Xanadu Enterprises Inc.
