I've recently bought an Amiga 500 and once I was satisfied everything was o.k. (the first machine had very poor conectivity on the mouse ports) I sent off the registration card. The question is what benefit is there from registering ? I ask as I have heard no confirmation of my registry (I think some free gimmick pack is sent out to all who register here in the U.K.) and want to know whether it is worth chasing up. On a broader note, what are people's experiences regarding registering with software houses and shareware authors ? A sidenote to U.K. users, I can find no copy of the Commodore U.K. address (it was obviously on the registration card). Could someone please e-mail me the address ? Thanks, Paul Dale JANET pyppad@uk.ac.bath.gdr JANET ccspad@uk.ac.bath.gdr take your pick :-)

I've been informed that the preferred mail address to this site for a user includes their real name, not login name as it used to be. This could be interesting as I have two accounts with the same 'real' name. I guess if anyone does respond it will bounce or I'll get double copy :-) Anyway, if you do have Commodore U.K.'s postal (or e-mail) address I'd love to have it. Please post to:- P.A.Dale@uk.ac.bath.gdr Thanks. Paul
