[comp.sys.amiga] AMOS Anyone?

aman@xroads.UUCP (Chris Minshall) (08/24/90)

Is there anyone else out there using AMOS from Mandarin software. I am
looking for someone, probably in Europe, who has AMOS and a bunch of PD
software for it. I know that a bunch of PD AMOS programs exist and I would
like to get a hold of them if I can. If anyone uses AMOS and has any
programs they could e-mail me, please let me know.

Thanks.

Chris

              Those aren't bugs! Just undesirable features!

Does anyone have the Amos Sprites 600? It's a disk of 600 sprites from
Mandarin. They give it away free if you get the prg from them, but since
they're in the UK and I'm in the US, I got it from a local dealer instead.
Can anyone E-Mail me the contents of the disk? I would imagine there would
be no copyright problems since they give the disk away as a free bonus
if you buy the program from them directly. I don't know if they are out in
the states or what. I read it in Amiga Format, a European mag.

I have been using AMOS since June. It is FANTASTIC. I just received the
EXTRAS disk which contain the PD programs you want. If you are a registered
owner you should be receiving the disk real soon.

It contains:

   Soundtrack -> AMOS converter
   Sonix      -> AMOS converter
   AMAL Editor
   Menu Editor
   A shoot-em-up games
   A new version of the sprite editor and map editor
   A new version of sprite grabber
   And a documentation pamphlet for using the utilities.

It seems like they have changed policy, somewhat. Now it doesn't matter
if You bought the program from them, just register and they will send
the disk. A friend got it yesterday, it contains more stuff than the sprites.
