I'm posting the following questions from a friend with no network access who is considering an Amiga purchase. Apparently some time with a Mac salesman has jaded him to reality... Please email responses to me, and I will summarize to the net if there is interest. Thanks! ----begin included text ---- 1. Are there any Amiga programs that provide: a) digital multi-track audio editing for film? b) stereo digital audio recording like Macintosh's DAWN? 2. Is there any Amiga software specifically designed to work with analog multi-track recording like one's made by Tascarn and Fastex? (Mac's Performer and Master Tracks Pro do this). 3. Does the Amiga have a comparable accounting package to Mac's accountant, Inc. Professional? Which is better, and why? 4. Same question as 3 regarding Mac's video paint professional. 5. How do Amiga's Bars & Pipes or Dr. T's KCS Level II software compare with similar Mac software and Atari's SMPTE Track? 6. With Amiga's relatively small user base, doesn't the quality and selection of software suffer? 7. I've heard that a lot of the earlier Amiga software had bugs. Is this still a problem? ---end included text--- /----------------------------------------------------------------------------\ | Ehud Gavron, Systems analyst | gavron@vesta.sunquest.com (Internet) | | Sunquest Information Systems | uunet!sunquest!gavron (UUCP) | | 930 N.
