[comp.sys.amiga] Mega Midget Racer

BYRNE@muppet.dnet.ge.com (09/07/90)

I was wondering if anyone is using a Mega Midget Racer. If so, any
information or opinions would be appreciated. The target system would be an
A500, Xetec SCSI controller, 80Mb Seagate HD, 1 Mb internal internal memory
(w/A501), and 2 Mb expaneded memory (in the Xetec). Thanks...

I'd like to ask as well, does the Mega Midget work w/ a Trumpcard 500
Professional?

I can't say about the Xetec, but a friend of mine has a portable
Amiga 500 with the CSA MegaMidgetRacer at 33 MHz with the A501,
a Kronos 500 card, a Maxtor 200meg HD, and CSA's 32bit mem board
with two megs populated. The system works _GREAT_ and easily
outstrips the 2630 board at every task we've tried. I'm saving
my pennies for a CSA currently. I know four people who own them
and are extremely pleased with them.
