I just bought the MiniGen ($190) and am pleased with it for the most part. A few minor problems: There is no RGB monitor cable passthrough (the ProGen has it for an extra $150) so unless I disconnect the MiniGen and reconnect the RGB cable, I must view the normal Amiga screen through the composite mode (which really sucks! There is massive "color bleed.") The other big problem is that with European Demos, the overlaid graphics loses its vhold and begins scrolling (the video-in is OK, however). A few other games do the same thing (mostly arcade shoot'em up types). I am considering upgrading to the ProGen for the RGB pass-through. I am told that the quality of the the MiniGen and ProGen are the same, however... I have not heard much about this last problem on Usenet, but if anyone has any hints or info, please e-mail me. Thanks! Linh/lngo@pikes.denver.colorado.edu or lngo@copper.denver.colorado.edu
