I talked with Tim Johnson, Channel Sales Manager for Digitalk on 9/7.
He stated that there currently are NO PLANS to port their product to
the Amiga. I asked what it would take for them to reconsider this
decision. He offered three options:
1) Somebody from Commodore walk into Digitalk offices, leave a pile
of money on the table and tell Digitalk that Commodore wants them
to produce a version for the Amiga.
2) Have everybody who is interested in Smalltalk on the Amiga write
a letter expressing said interest to:
Tim Johnson, Channel Sales Mgr.
% Digitalk, Inc.
9841 Airport Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90045
3) If attending OOPSLA this October in Ottawa, stop by the Digitalk
booth and speak to Tim Johnson or the other Digitalk dignitaries
and let THEM know of your interest.
Seems the folks at Digitalk don't read comp.sys.amiga - if you want
Smalltalk on Ami, you're going to have to let them know you want it.
