While we're talking about bridgeboard cards: WHY IS IT THAT ONE CAN BY A COMPLETE 286 PC FOR LESS THAN A 286 BRIDGEBOARD CARD? The _Education_ _Discount_ for an AT BridgeBoard is over $1,000, and yet here in my newspaper there are advertisements for 286 PCs for $500-$600!?! EXAMPLES: 12 MHz 286 Monochrome system, 512k, High Density (1.2 Meg) drive : $495 16 MHz 286 Monochrome system, 512k, High Density (1.2 Meg) drive : $569 (Source: Fry's Electronics, Ad in San Jose Mercury News, 9/9/1990) This price includes the whole box, disk drive and all, so why would anyone pay $1000 to $1500 (list price!) to stick this card on your Ami? (I love my Amiga, but I see no advantage to paying 2x the cost of a PC just so I can run PC software thru my Amiga's box. I'd rather just buy a separate PC.) Lee Willis
