Yeah, I got exactly the same problems too. BatDanceMusicdemo will hang
after a few seconds of disk access. As for AlivePack and Abnormal Pack, one of
them (I can't remember) has a problem with the 'Menu' display in s/menu. I
hence delete it an replaced it with my own text file. This particular disk had
9 demos, numbered 1-9 and one of them is corrupted (I think #9). The other had
about 7 demos, two of them won't work, one of them was indicated though. Also
this disk's intro was corrupted, so I just removed it from the
startup-sequence.

Will the sender please re-archive them and re-send them, PLEASE!
Also has anyone gotten VMM.lhw to work??? The intro works OK, but the
main file 'VMM' has a read/write error.
Also, has anyone successfully got all of the demos in the
'KEFRENS_VIII' demo to work? I have a couple of them in both disk that won't
work.
Also, the RedSector demo stops after the demo after the 'Vectorballs'
part of the demo. Checking the disk with 'X-copy' showed some track error. Has
anyone got the full working RS demo???
BTW, there is a demo called 'Vectorballs' demo in incoming/amiga at
abcfd20 (~61K length) that can only be run off a disk in DF0: !!! If your're
pulling your hair because you have just d'ld it and decompressed it in RAM or
on HD and tried to run it from there and it doesn't work, try what I've just
mentioned above!

Well, I guess that's enough for now. BTW2, I would very much like to
thank the guys for FTPing all those neato European demos up to abcfd20. I have
been steadily building up my demo collection and when I get back to Singapore
(I'm an international student here at Cornell), I'm gonna distribute them!!!
(Actually, I'm gonna really miss all these when my 4 years here are up and I
have to go back to S'pore to work and won't ever be able to log into abcfd
anymore!!! Sigh...)
BTW3, I'll be trying to FTP some European demos up too. My first will
be the "Mental Hangover' demo by Scoopex, so watch for it in a week. (You'll
need PAL to view it though...)

***Vincent*** (The demo freak!)

PS: Why must people leave so much 'junk' after their posts???

The reason all these files are corrupted is because of
LHWarp. The program still doesn't have all the bugs
fixed in it. It has does this to me sending disks to friends
all ready. Personally, I use warp and try to ignore how
long it takes. Haven't used Zap but once. That may be
better also.

Just don't bother with LHWarp. The thing still screws up
files more often then it should.
