Howdy! As a soon-to-be owner of an A3000, I would like some help in deciding what kind of hard/soft-ware will help me get what I need out of this monster of a machine. First, I am a music major and midi-mancer. What kind of hardware is the best midi interface for the Amiga, and where can I get it? I'll also need a software sequencer with as many tracks/features as possible (printable scores would be a plus!). Next, aside from getting Video Toaster, what can I use to slave my keyboard synch signals to a video so I can have real-time sound with my videos? Along the same lines, what animation/paint programs are capable of overlaying perfectly synched (as in start/stop at the right time) animation over a VCR composite video signal? Are any? What's the consensus as to the best paint program out there? I'm familiar with Dpaint III and Photon Paint (I like the latter already!) but want to know if there will be any compatibility problems with these programs on the A3000. Anybody answering will be elevated to status of demigod to a newbie to the computer that pushed an "I-swear-by-IBM-and-Macs-are-cool-too" flunkie into the waiting arms of a computer he'd never heard of before. /---------------------------------------------------------------------\ | -Doug Bischoff- | *** *** ====--\ | "Beggars can't | | -DEB110 @ PSUVM- | * *** * ==|<>\___ | be users.
