[net.music] Sue Kenny Rogers!

Once again this morning I heard the Kenny
Rogers song, "She Believes in Me," and I
had just had it up to here! Why didn't the
guy who wrote the song for the group, "Bread,"
sue the hell out of Rogers for stealing
three quarters of the song, "Lost Without Your Love"
in order to rake in the bucks?

Whenever ethical songwriters discover that they're
unconsciously plagiarizing, they usually back off.
Rogers got away with this one (and one other, as I
recall) with a fortune. George Harrison didn't.
I just don't understand it.

Whew. Got that off my chest. Sorry, gang.
