I have heard that there is a way to send messages to fidonet thru internet that is similar to the way that messages can be sent to compuserve. Does anyone know how this is done? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | | | John Manning | Sit Ubu, sit | | j_manning@csc32.enet.dec.com | Good dog | | | | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay.. I'm trying to set up my amiga to be a node off of FIDONet. I need to be able to recieve mail from two separate feeds (one for a USENET gateway, and the other for the regular fido mail). I have the following programs: Juliet, Fastpoint, ConfMail, Chameleon, TrapDoor(which I can't use for a node), welmat, and ommm. I would like to go with Chameleon and welmat, but I don't have the foggiest idea of how to let my system know which system I'm getting my feeds from. Also, I don't have a parselist program.. if anyone has one, could you email it to me? (contact me first...) Does anyone know what is involved in getting this set up? (my usenet messages will look like fidonet messages to my system.. so that's not a problem). Any help will be appreciated. Walter (JJ) Reynolds -- This .signature is being released as ShareWare. Very much so - I'm quite involved with the Fidonet Side of networking. If you would like further information on any of the mentioned programs, just send me a Message. If you would like to contact the author of Welmat for help, he is at mcr@julie.UUCP (fts1!julie!mcr). To be truthful, I have no idea! Obviously, if you have received this, I just used "mikeb@uts.amdahl.com", your net address. Hope this helped. -- Kevin Mack - via FidoNet node 1:140/22 UUCP: ...!alberta!herald!weyr!70!Kevin.Mack Domain: Kevin.Mack@f70.n140.z1.FIDONET.ORG Standard Disclaimers Apply...
