[comp.sys.amiga] USING MOUNT WITH A 2090, WITHOUT BINDDRIVERS

ccc@anomaly.sbs.com (Cole Calistra) (09/14/90)

Can anyone help me out? I am DESPERATELY trying to find a way to use a 2090,
WITHOUT using Binddrivers. I cannot get the example mountlists in the
manual or the disk to work AT ALL. I am using a Miniscribe 8425 ST-506
drive. I want to just be able to mount ONE large partition without binddrivers,
because binddrivers automatically assumes the drive is DH0: or DH1: and that
kills my SCSI drive on another (GVP) controller. But that part doesn't
matter too much. I want to be able to use A-Max II without reformatting my
SCSI drive. Has anyone gotten a 2090 (not A) to mount a partition? If
so, please mail me your mountlist.
                           Thanks much!
