I CAN'T BE ALONE! Many articles are in net.news re: Duplicate Posting of Same
Article Propagated Within USENET by Site(s) Other Than the Originating Site.
For you paranoids on the net who seem to assume that many of us are boobs, do
you think anyone would post the same article week after week for over a month?
I am really sorry that one of my postings appears to be "floating out there" in
netland and seems to randomly reappear at different times at sites far removed
from Rochester. I am at a loss to explain why something posted in September
shows up now. I too have witnessed similar reincarnations of other articles.
To date, I have tried to be polite in answering the (sometimes crude) mail even
though it is completely irrelevant since it is not my fault & I can't do any-
thing about it. So PLEASE! Give me (and other innocent submitters) a break!
Just grin, accept it with the rest of us for now, tell it to your USENET
administrator, and look forward to the time when the problem is fixed.

as ever, j.r. :-) {allegra,seismo}!rochester!ritcv!jrc

p.s. Sorry this is in net.general, but of great interest if you are a "victim."
