I am having a very strange problem with A-Max II and my Trumpcard 500 hard drive controller. I have the fat agnes chip set with an extra 4MB of fast ram in my hard drive chassis. I have an A1010, the A-Max cartridge with ROMs, and an Amig-A-Tosh external Mac drive. This setup worked perfectly with A-Max I, and I used the IVS Trumpcard Utilities software to partition my hard drive for both Mac and Amiga. Now, I can boot A-Max II off my hard drive ONLY IF MY AMIG-A-TOSH DRIVE IS NOT CONNECTED!!!! When the external Mac drive is connected, the hard drive light blips once and then the screen freezes with the Mac disk with the question mark. The question does not flash as it would normally do. I called both ReadySoft and IVS; and they were unable to help me. Does someone else have a similar setup or a similar problem? Can someone give me some suggestions how to get my Mac drive and my Mac HD partition to coexist? I will try to borrow a Cutting Edge drive to see if the problem is with the Amiga-A-Tosh drive... but I want to be able to use my own!!!
