Before I begin here I should say that I have never actually used the Amiga,
yeah there are some of us. I am in the process of shopping for a computer and
am seriously cponsidering an Amiga. Under an educational discount I have found
the following:

A2000Hd : U know the rest
A 286 : 80286 Co-processoretc.and 5.25 in. Floppy
Amigavision:
RGB monitor: As you can tell I don't know the exact numbers of hand.

A3000 16/??:68030 and 68881 (16Mhz) and 40 or 50 Meg Hard drive
Amigavision:
A1950: multiscan monitor.

Don't flame me for not knowing the specifics, as I said, I have not used an
Amiga and am not familiar with there product numbers. I have interest in
using the Amiga as an IBM clone and I was wondering which was the best way to
go, if either. Also I was wondering what limitations either have as an IBM
clone (ie. A2000HD is slow but has the AT board, the A3000 has more speed but
not the At board.) I need to keep initial costs under $3,000.00 and need room
to expand in the future. I thank anyone who responds to this.
