Does anyone have a clue as to the format of the songs in the Oktasongs.lzh file on NewXanth in /incoming/amiga. I did a "opt h" on them and they have the keyword SAMP in them. They're not NT/ST, and MED 2.10 bombs in "load song" and "ST Mod" modes. I thought SAMP was a IFF type designed by Dissidents. Are they putting out a music composition prg?? Oktalyzer is something like MED but it splits the amiga's four audio channels by software to eight channels. This eats almost every CPU cycle so the program doesn't multitask. Does anybody know whether oktalyzer is commercial/PD/whatever? +-----+---+-+-----+---+-+-----+-----+-----+-----+---+-----+-----+-+-+ ! --- ! ! ! ! --- ! ! ! ! --- +---- ! --- ! +-+ ! ! +-+ +-+ --- +- -+ ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ----+ ! ! +---+ ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! +--+--+-+---+--+--+-+---+--+--+-----+--+--+-----+---+ +-+ +--+--+-+-+
