From what I have heard for Amax II to work with a hard disk the harddisk controller must have a Western Digital SCSI chip. This is because that is what a real Mac has in it. I am not sure if anything can be done thru software to work around this. So I don't think you will see anything for the HardFrame real soon since it does not use a WD SCSI chip. doug dsk@ibm.com

Since both the Nexus and DigiFeX boards don't use the Western
Digital chip and still support A-Max II, I doubt if this is the case.
It's more likely that they just don't want to spend the time to develop
the software with no tangible return...
BTW, Just heard from Supra that they're supposed to ship
their A-Max II driver within the next couple of weeks... We'll see
how long their weeks are RSN. :-)
