Thanks to everyone who answered my the questions that I posted last week. Perhaps y'all could help me with a follow-up question. Will the new chips produced for the A3000 be available for upgrading existing A500s and A2000s? If so, will the "productivity mode" (non-interlaced 640x480) require a multi-sync monitor? Will this make the flicker-fixer obselete? My guesses are Yes (fortunately), Yes (unfortunately) and No/Irrelevant (because other hi-res modes offer more colours / but I'm mainly interested in hi-res text work). If I've guessed wrong, please let me know. P.S. I'm also assuming that a multi-sync monitor can display output from an AT-bridgeboard/VGA board combination. Please let me know if I've got this wrong, too. -- Dave Berry, LFCS, Edinburgh Uni. db%lfcs.ed.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk Snuffsaidbutgorblimeyguvstonemeifhedidn'tthrowawobblerchachachachachacha chachachachachayou'regoinghomeinacosmicambience.
