For $1599 you can get the 2000HD system also with monitor. If you want the additional floppy get it for $109 as he says. So the total under the above system would actually be (1599+109+120=) $1828 and with tax about $1900. That's about $200 short of this persons quote. People, if you are going to use comparisons in your adds, at least do them right. I am only trying "correct" this. I'll offer you $2000 for the whole thing, only problem is that I am in the market for a A3000. Oh well. Alexei Rodriguez xwm@mentor.cc.purdue.edu

(By the way, my price correction was posted before your this news and that means I didn't lower my price only upon reading your news.) Actually, I discovered that it is cheaper to buy an amiga 2000HD and buy the another add-ons. Thus, my price correction is based on the assumption that one buys an amiga 2000HD and upgrade it part by part. I think you have made a mistake in your calculation. The amiga 2000HD DOESN'T come with any floppy. Thus, one has to buy 2 floppies just to be equivalent to my system and that is 2 x $109. And finally, I just want to clarify that I didn't buy my computer thru' the educational discount but just to be fair to the buyer, I use the assumption. I have lowered the price accordingly as stated in my price correction. Post me any comment again if you think it is unfair to the buyer. Johnson email: sieu@sim.berkeley.edu tel: 415-644-2509

No, the Amiga 2000HD bundle includes: A2000 (which INCLUDES the first internal drive...Commodore has NEVER sold this without at least 1 internal drive...at least to my knowledge, as I have many friends that have one) An A2091-40 Controller (this is what makes the A2000HD from a A2000) w/40m HD A2286D AT Bridgeboard A1084D RGB monitor (This is off the old price list as of 12/15/89, the new ones are lower since they do not included the Bridgeboard). $2,579. In fact, looking at the bottom of the list under components, it reads: A2000HD/1 CPU w/40Mb HD, 1FD $1,619. --

Look, before this gets out of hand, I want to clear up any misconceptions. I am not flaming you. Also, EVERY AMIGA COMES WITH ONE (1) FLOPPY DRIVE. If yours didn't then you got gyped :). SO my calculations are correct unless you have 3 drives ( 2 int 1 ext). So there. Alexei ROdriguez xwm@mentor.cc.purdue.edu ----Defender of the mis-informed.--------
