[comp.sys.amiga] BYTE Amiga coverage

tyager@maxx.UUCP (Tom Yager) (09/22/90)

When I said in an earlier message that BYTE wasn't planning any more
coverage of the Amiga 3000, I was mistaken. We just received our 3000UX
and will be writing it up. No more details than that for now, but something
is scheduled. We're working on it now.

Reviewer, UNIX World? Do you know if UNIX World is going to do any
coverage of Amiga Unix, or does it need to become an official product before
that happens (I assume they intend or will cover it when if it's released).

Gosh, this is "Toothless Byte" thread is interesting. I didn't
realise that my little snide posting about the magazine would raise so
many responses. If the tone of `Byte' changes from being an IBM
review magazine to a high-powered general PC magazine, I'm sure many
of us ol' hacks would be interested in it again.

I await the arrival of the September 1990 edition; we're only up to
June or July down here.
