The program UUCICO (made by Matt Dillon) gives me a system failure #80000003 after a while. It connects and transfers files and before getty gets a chance to unpack then the dreaded system failure (former known as GURU) appears craching my machine. I have a 3000/25/50 with kick 36.143 and WB 36.68. 1Mb Chipmem 1Mb Fast 32 bit 2Mb Fast 16 bit (I have tried without it too) Anyone else having any problems with UUCICO? I have been running a newsfeed from my A3000 at home using Matt Dillons UUCP for a while. To get sound the Guru quickly, make sure you run NoFastMem before you do your uucico (this worked for me) and if you want to fix the problem permanently, recompile uucico on your 3000 (I think there was a minor bug in Matt's C compiler DICE that caused some un-nice memory problems on the 3000). -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= _______________ / / / | uunet!sdrc!evtracy / (___ _ /_ /_ _ __ /_/ | evtracy@SDRC.UU.NET / . _____)__(__/ /__/_/_/ /__/_/_/__(/__/ (__/ \ +--------------------- Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC) - Milford, Ohio =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

The first involves a crash during reception, and the second after reception is complete just before running uuxqt. The first has been found but the second is still unknown... it has something to do with data comming in when at the same time uucico closes and reopens the serial device to drop DTR. The next AmigaUUCP release is slated for December/January some time due to my work load. Until then you might want to use the 1.05D UUCico. -Matt -- Matthew Dillon dillon@Overload.Berkeley.CA.US 891 Regal Rd. uunet.uu.net!overload!dillon Berkeley, Ca. 94708 USA
