A couple of questions about the educational program: 1. A local dealer told me that I can only buy one CPU (or CPU package) per year with this discount. Did he mean one CPU of a certain type? One of the reasons I ask is that I may hold out until C= gets their UNIX project into the act. As I would rather spend big for a 3000 with UNIX, I am content to wait indefinitely until it is released if I cannot buy two CPUs within a year. 2. Any other horror stories (ala warantee problems) with the ed. disc.? 3. Can someone give me some more information about the 3000/25Mhz,100MB, 5M machine? Is that 2MB chip and 3MB fast. What kind of memory is that extra 3MB? Would I be able to expand to 18MB on the motherboard? (Doubt it). Are they static column chips? Why didn t C= offer a 100MB hard disk with only 2MB ram (so I could add 4MB 1x4 zipps and maintain my ability to up my motherboard to 18M---it seems that the 100MB version has a serious flaw for being the "flagship" of the line.) 4. What kind of plans are in the works for those who get a 3000 now and want to upgrade to the UNIX version? (Is it true that the monitor is 1024x1024x256?) 5. What is the story with the 1930 monitor?
