Hi there! 'Tis me again, hoping more than ever that you don't get tired of my inane ravings and insert my name into your kill files... To get to the point, I'm looking to organize my jumbled-up hard drive in an intelligent way and emulating the standard UNIX methods. In essence, I would like to be able to group all of my binaries (yes! All!) under the c: directory and still have the workbench organized the way it is, separated into games, communications, tools, etc. Is it possible to have a .info file point to its' file in another directory? Should I abandon this idea and delve deeper in the chaotic mess that my hard drive has become? Why is 27 the ultimate answer? What is the purpose of those hairless cats that you see people holding in magazines like Vanity? Perhaps I should get back on track... Oh, fine! More questions. How can I tell if my A500 has the 1.3 kickstart ROMs? I bought it used, and can't seem to get in touch with the previous owner anymore. Some nice man in a suit asked me to contact him if the guy who sold me the machine was found somewhere, though... No, not really. I'm kidding. Well, I seem to be ranting. Anyway, I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks. -- __ _ _ _____ _ ___ __ | Christopher W.
