I just downloaded VLT and assorted external protocols from abcfd20, and at first glance it appears that VLT does take the telecomm crown - it is, at least, better than ATalk3, which I've been using for a while now. The only problem is that I can't get the external transfer protocols to work right - I know, this has been discussed before, but I always just 'k'-ed the articles on vlt and jr-comm because I didn't think I'd need them :-( With xprkermit (1.5), I can initiate the transfer ok, and the filename gets sent, so I know the protocols are talking to each other, but after that the protocol hangs on the first packet. I tried setting block checking to different values, but this didn't help. I can send files from the Amiga fine, by the way. So what am I missing? ***************************************************************************** ** Bill Gribble Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, CA ** ** bgribble@jarthur.claremont.edu Never heard of it?
