Try a piece of cardboard (or a 5 sided piece) covered with in foil. Or if
you have resources a aluminum shield. I had a VGA and a CGA monitor that were
next to each other so I could do dual-screen debugging in CodeView for OS/2.
The mono monitor was REALLY wavy until I got the shield. I have to agree
with Perr about the 1950. A friend bought one and it was crooked.. Took it back
tried two others THEY were CROOKED too. So he took the "LEAST" crooked. The
dealer was nice enough to say when they become a repair center they will
straighten the tube for free.
Also I suggest you treat your 3000 on/off switch gingerly. The long
mechanical arm tends to come loose. Are there any other 3000 problems out there
that people have found?? We may be showing a 3000 at our next users group
meeting and its only fair to show the good with the bad.
